Accessing the K–12 Score Reporting Portal: The Basics The Access Manager can use the Invite feature to grant access to individuals who need to view student scores but who don’t have a College Board account or don’t work directly for the school. • • IMPORTANT: If you’re a principal or administrator who has already assigned the Access Manager role: • That person will be the Access Manager until you choose to have someone else take on that role. • You do not have to reassign this role every year, and you will not receive a new access code. All other roles are valid for no more than one year; the Access Manager chooses the expiration date(s) when they assign roles. If you think you should have gotten an access code but can’t find it, contact us at [email protected] or 888-477-7728. Access at a Glance What each role can do? It represents the percentage of students whose scores fall at or below the student’s score. • A test taker whose Math percentile rank is 57 scored higher or equal to 57% of test takers. There are two types of percentiles on PSAT/NMSQT® score reports: • Nationally Representative Sample Percentile: This compares an individual student’s score to the scores of typical U.S. students in a particular grade. • User Percentile—National: This compares an individual student’s score to the scores of typical U.S. College Board test takers in a particular grade. After this year, it will compare students’ scores to the scores of prior-year test takers. • sat.org/scoresdemo Student Portal Demo Learn about: • Benchmarks • Percentiles • AP Potential • Overview of Skills Insight Find New AP Students ® AP Potential™ is a tool that analyzes students’ performance on the PSAT/NMSQT® to let you know which AP subjects individual students are likely to do well in.
