Research Assignments
1. Go through several years of AP English Literature Essay #3 essay prompts. Find 5 possible
prompts that you can do. No one in class will do the same prompt for their research paper. Have
each prompt on an individual sheet and staple these together in a research folder that has
pockets. Due Friday November 16th.
2. You will create an annotated bibliography where one of your sources is Don Quixote (citing
which translation you are using) and no more than two other sources. Due Wednesday
November 28th.
3. You will write a first draft of an introduction paragraph. Due Monday December 3rd.
4. You will print from one line or copy ten passages from Don Quixote that will possibly be used in
your research paper. You will annotate these. You will bring in your two sources, if you are using
these with annotations. Due Wednesday December 5th.
5. You will submit the detailed outline on Friday December 7th.
6. You will bring printed type first drafts to class for an in-class peer edit. No excuses. Due
Wednesday December 12.
7. Works Cited page is check on Friday December 14th
8. Final Draft Essays/folders due on Monday December 17th. You must submit the paper to
Blackboard by Monday December 17th
