Edward McCallum on behalf of the Assigns of William Henry Mbrris,
James Grey, George Wilkinson, Sar.uel Gray, Henry James
and Joseph Lyons, original -rantces of certain mining ground on
McCulloch Creek, in
jig Bend sub,livision of the West Kootenay
District;
the Minister observes, that a gr:nt of t::e enclusive
right of way through nr.t entry upon one and one half miles of
McCulloch Creek, for the purpose of constructing and maintaining
a bedrock flume for a period of five years was made to the said
applicants on the 5th day of April, MG, by an indenture signed
by the Honourable Willi= Smithe, Gold Coumissioner;
that an exten:;ion of the term for another five years
was ryanted on the nth lay of January, Imo, by the donourable
F. G. Vernon, Gold Conniasioner;
that the applicants now apply for a lease for a
period Of tventy five years of all the Mining Ground granted
to tem by the said agreement dated 5th April, Imo, and all
the rights and privileges accorded to them, together with.five

His Honour the Lieutenant-Governor, by and with the advice of the
Executive Council, has been pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, that
the grant of the e::clusive right of *:icy through and entry upon
