MUSTANG MONEY DONATION REQUEST
What is Mustang Money?
Mustang Money is Fireside’s fall fundraiser that will
run from Tuesday, September 6th through Friday,
October 7th. It is a direct-ask campaign that allows
the PTO to pay for things that are not fully covered
by the school budget. We understand that families
are busy. Fundraising products, such as candles,
wrapping paper and cookie dough, add an extra
time commitment when families are already
strapped for time.
How much $ is the Mustang Money donation?
SUGGESTED DONATION AMOUNT: $50/child or $100/family
We ask that you donate in the amount you feel comfortable.
No amount is too small.
How is Mustang Money used?
THIS YEAR, MUSTANG MONEY WILL SPECIFICALLY SUPPORT
THESE INITIATIVES WITHIN BUILDING DEVELOPMENT:

Installing “buddy benches” around the playground
Creating an outdoor learning classroom, which will allow
for horticulture exposure for both students and staff
Providing flexible seating for classrooms

Mustang Money is spent in five categories:
• Building Development - shade structures, playground equipment such as balls, nine square courts, classroom start-up funds
for teachers and Back to School materials for students such as planners and take home folders.
• Teacher Education - the purchase of curriculum related materials, in addition to paying for teacher's professional
development and staff appreciation.
• Enrichment Programs - programs on campus like Art Masterpiece, Junior Achievement, a portion of Accelerated Reader
(AR), PBIS/SPARK, Trekkers & STEM mini-grants.
• Community Events - After school treats, Costco shopping days, BINGO night, BooHoo Yahoo Breakfast, Ice Cream Social,
Family Night Out and Movie Night.
• PTO Operating Expenses - insurance, PayPal, Square and bank fees, accountant charges, and supplies.

How do I make my Mustang Money donation?
Payment options:
• CASH/CHECK: Please fill out the information below and STAPLE your cash or check payment (payable to FIRESIDE PTO) to
this form. Send this form & payment into the classroom via your child’s take home folder/binder.

*If you have more than one child attending our school, you may submit one form but list ALL children/teachers.*
