New to the menu this
year were the ham
croquetas, which sold
out by early Sunday.
Everyone loved them!
Thank you to all who
helped make the dough and croquetas, load and
unload the trailer, set up, serve and cook and to all
who came and cleaned on Tuesday evening.
Also, a very special “Thank you” to Christ United
Methodist Church for the use of their kitchen to
make the churro dough and croquetas.
Thanks, again!

Dancers Have New Email
Cooking Club
The Basque Club of Utah dancers, Utah 'ko
Triskalariak, have a new email address,
[email protected]. Please contact
Cirbie or Alise with this email.
We are still hoping to restart the Basque Club of
Utah Cooking Club. The chair, Monique Flesher,
reports that we have had very few applications
sent in regarding cooking group membership
Anyone interested in dancing should know that
dance practice is on Sunday at 5 pm.
Anyone who is interested and has not yet sent
back the signed membership agreement, please
send it in as soon as possible.
The dancers gave an excellent performance at the
Living Traditions Festival on May 19. Their next
performance will be at the club picnic on June 23.
If you need the application, please email Monique
at [email protected].
The NABO Convention will be held in Elko, NV this
year on July 5-7. Our dancers will be performing
there during the weekend.
We would like to get our first dinner scheduled but
wanted to make sure that we have included
everyone that wants to be included.
The dancers are also trying to raise money to go
to New York in October.
The dancers have a busy summer planned. They
do an outstanding job representing our club.

Some of the sausages that were created for the
Odolki Jatea (Blood Sausage Dinner) will be
entered into the third annual Chorizo and Blood
Sausage competition in Elko at the NABO festival.
We want to send a sample newsletter to anyone
who is qualified to be a member of the club.
Our club members thought the sausages were
