Change of Dismissal
The whole purpose of the Daily Change of dismissal is to let us know what your child is doing at 2:35PM, if it is different
than normal. Clarification: For all after school activities, please choose “Go to After School Program”, then you will be
prompted to explain which after school program they will be attending such as ESE or Other like Pup Running, Recycling
club, Spell Bowl, Play practice, SAC, Math Pentathlon, Math Bowl, Newspaper etc. For all bus changes, please enter if
they are riding their own bus or a different bus. Please be sure to enter the correct number in both bus # locations
otherwise the change will not be visible to the bus driver. Use this option if they are riding their bus but getting off at a
different stop. You will be able to name who your child is going home with using that option. Carpool is only used for
those children leaving at the normal school dismissal time via carpool. If you choose carpool and your child is really
supposed to go to an after school activity, they will miss part of their activity, because they will be sent outside to wait for
their ride at 2:35PM. DO NOT USE CARPOOL IF THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GO TO AN AFTER SCHOOL
PROGRAM!! Other is only used if the other options do not work. This is rarely used!
On some days, we have over 160 changes of dismissal. It is vital that all changes be entered on time and correctly to
ensure that your child is safe. Thank you for your cooperation!

PTO Co-Vice President Nomination
It is with great sadness that I announce that Lauren Price and her family will be moving to Houston at the end of this
school year. Due to her moving, she will be unable to fulfill her future duties as President and Vice President. Thus, we
are adding a Co-Vice President position to the Executive Board. The 2013-2014 Nominating Committee has met and
nominated Jenny Okamoto as the new VP. The vote on this nomination will take place at the November 21 General PTO
Meeting.

Do have some Colts/Pacer tickets that you don’t want to use? Auction them!
Maybe you have a family business that has something fun to donate? Great – we’d love it! (And we’ll be
sure to put the business name on our auction description.)
Are you a personal trainer? Auction off some sessions!
Are you a true “foodie”? Offer to fix dinner as an auction item!
Maybe get together with a few other parents and put together a creative and fun basket – like a “rainy
day basket” full of art supplies or a “sports basket” full of balls or a “get dolled up basket” with fun
makeup.
Have an awesome present that is just begging to be “re-gifted”? Send it our way!
Just want to put together something fun? Go for it!
These are just suggestions as we are open to anything appropriate for a school auction. If you have any questions, need
more information or have something you are interested in donating, please feel free to contact us, Lauren Price at 6692974 [email protected] or Kursten Blanchard, 809-1031 or [email protected] .
