Regulations under the Roads and Public Places
Ordinance 1937.*

GORDON FREETH, the Minister of State for the Interior, hereby make
the following Regulations under the Roads and Public Places
Ordinance 1937.

ROADS AND PUBLIC PLACES REGULATIONS.
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Roads and Public Places short title.

of—
(a) the carriage-way of a public road is- the fee specified in the
First Schedule to these Regulations opposite to the type of
surface of the carriage-way; and
(b) a footpath or the drive-way between the carriage-way of a public
road and the boundary of a parcel of land is the fee specified
in the Second Schedule to these Regulations opposite to the
type of surface of the footpath or drive-way.

surface opened up or broken, whichever is the greater.
£5 or an amount calculated at the rate of Is. 9d. for
each square foot or part of a square foot of the
surface opened up or broken, whichever is the greater.
£3 or an amount calculated at the rate of Is. 3d. for
each square foot or part of a square foot of the
surface opened up or broken, whichever is the greater.
