These three items were chosen as they are the most important to the direct process of creating the product. The call center representative is the personal item who contributes to the product by being the focus of the presentation requirement of the implementation process. The ream of paper is the supply item used to print the call center representative script. The telephone is the equipment item used by the call center representative to communicate the script the caller. Price comparison for personnel item Price comparison for the call center representative was conducted by researching salaries from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Glassdoor.com, and Salary.com. Table 1 below shows the findings of that research. The three items displayed in the table reveal that the lowest salary for the representative is from Salary.com. The salary and hourly wage for a call center representative per Salary.com is $28,830.00 or $13.86 per hour. The current salary of the Crisis Call Center’s call center representatives is $27,040.00 or $13.00 per hour, and based on the comparison, is at or below market value and reasonable.
