CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF GODERICH BY-LAW 147 OF 2016 WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Goderich considers it advisable to amend Zoning By-law 124-2013, as amended, of the Corporation of the Town of Goderich; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Goderich ENACTS as follows: 1. By-law 124-2013 is hereby amended by changing the zoning on the subject lands from Future Development (FD) to Lowest Density Residential (R1), the zone symbol of the lands so designated on the attached Schedule A. 2. Key Map 13 of By-law 124-2013 is hereby amended and replaced by the attached Schedule A, Key Map 13 which is declared to be part of this by-law. 3. The attached Schedule 1, detailing the purpose and effect of the zoning amendment, is declared to be part of this By-law. 4. The proposed Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment would change the land use designation and zone on the lands described as Part of Lot 8, Concession C; known municipally as 234 Bayfield Road; as illustrated in the attached schedule. The subject lands are approximately 495 square metres (5318 square feet) in area. 2. The application proposes to amend the land use designation of the subject land from Highway Commercial to Residential; and to amend the zoning from Future Development (FD) to Low Density Residential (R1). The purpose of the proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments is to prepare the previously created parcel for future use as a residential building lot. 3. This by-law amends the Town of Goderich Official Plan and Zoning By-law 124-2013. Key Map(s) showing the location of the lands are the attached Schedule A. 4. The Zoning By-law Amendment will not come into force until the Official Plan Amendment (OPA 8) is approved by the County of Huron.
