Lesson 1 - Zip It Up
Lesson 6 - Take Me with You
Have you wondered about what the differences are between using an alphabet design collection and using a
font on the machine or in the software? Learn the difference while making a unique bag that zips up to create
a bag perfect for holding a sparkling cider or wine.
Working with knit fabrics and cut away stabilizers will
be taught on a travel pillow which is what your little one
(or you!) may need for a car trip or a trip to Grandma’s
house. The pocket is a great place to stash a book or
a magazine and the handle makes it easy to carry.
Lesson 2 - Pretty Practical
Lesson 7 - A Mug Rug for All Seasons
Learn to use design templates and the actual pattern
piece to get exact embroidery placement while making
a thread bag and pin cushion which is pretty yet functional. You can also use the bag pattern to create a
cute little purse!
These mug rugs are made entirely “in the hoop”. If you
have not yet tried this embroidery technique, you will be
amazed at how easy it is to create these pieced mug
rugs and embroider appliqué designs all in one hooping.
Lesson 3 - Keep Warm & Carry On
This unique fabric case in the shape of a circle closes
into a half moon shape with a zipper to hold your
jewelry or sewing necessities. We will explore ways
to use both the sewing machine and software to stitch
perfect circles for this case.
Get a handle on how to embroider on items with lots of
seams and how to turn an embroidery design into a fusible appliqué. Learn these techniques and be the hit of
the next potluck as you proudly carry your dish in a
VERY easy-to-make and clever embroidered carrier.
Lesson 4 - Chocolate is Good for You!
Lesson 8 - Circle Around
Lesson 9 - What’s in Your Wallet?
If you love chocolate, convey your love with kitchen
towels embroidered with chocolate recipes. The chocolate recipes are stitched with small letters in which you
will learn how to embroider successfully. These make
great house warming or wedding gifts.
While focusing on some basic troubleshooting guidelines to make your embroidery look its best, we will
make a wallet that folds flat and can hold your credit
cards or loyalty cards for easy access. It is easy enough
for beginners, but fun for anyone to make. And it is the
perfect project to show off your embroidery designs.
Lesson 5 - On the Curve
Lesson 10 - Vested Interest
Positioning and embroidering multiple designs along a
border or curved edge is sometimes a challenge. Learn
how to make this process easy on this cute apron that
sports a curved bottom hem.
