This document provides a non-binding translation from Swedish to English. If any discrepancy, the Swedish original will take precedence. Appendix A – Proposal for licence conditions for block 14 of the 1800 MHz band Frequency space, usage and technical conditions 1. The licence refers to 2×5 MHz within the frequency space 1775.0–1780.1 MHz/1870.0– 1875.1 MHz, in accordance with option A or B below: a. 1775.0-1780.0 MHz/1870.0-1875.0 MHz b. 1775.1-1780.1 MHz/1870.1-1875.1 MHz 2. The licence shall be used for systems with the capacity to provide publicly available electronic communication services in Sweden. 3. These communication services shall be provided using the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), Universal Mobile Communications (UMTS), Long Term Evolution (LTE) or Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), in accordance with harmonised standards from ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute). 4. Between adjacent networks, there must be a buffer space, in accordance with the technical parameters stated in the appendices to the Commission Decisions of 16 October 2009 (2009/766/EC) and 18 April 2011 (2011/251/EU). 5. The affected licence holders may agree on less strict technical parameters. 6. The licence may be used for other technical systems, provided that they give protection for GSM, UMTS, LTE and WiMAX. For these other technical systems, the spectrum emission mask of the ETSI standard TS 125 104 shall be applied. 7. The technology Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) shall be used. Other conditions 8. The licence holder has priority for the assigned frequencies, but use of radio equipment with DSA may occur. 9. The licence holder shall coordinate with and request the consent of the Swedish Armed Forces when locating base station equipment in the vicinity of their outdoor facilities in the municipalities of Gotland, Kungsbacka and Ystad. 10. The licence holder shall comply with the applicable regulations at all times regarding coordination agreements that Sweden has concluded with other states. 11. The licence holder is responsible for planning the radio network. Reservations 12. In accordance with the Electronic Communications Act, the licence terms may be altered as a result of future changes in radio technology or changes in radio use due to the international agreements that Sweden has entered or provisions adopted under the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
