The Story: Adapted from Washington Irving's classic ghost story, here’s a spooky show alive with
hilarious action and dynamic music.
Ichabod Crane, a socially awkward schoolmaster, comes to Sleepy Hollow where he’s sure his dreams
will come true when he spots the pretty Katrina Van Tassel. In an attempt to drive him away her jealous
suitor, the conceited Brom Bones, plays on Ichabod’s fears with tales of ghosts, including the most
renowned phantom of all, the Headless Horseman! But are they just tales…..?
Casting Requirements:
Children - ages 10 and up
Adults of all ages welcome
 Needed specifically - Males and Females, late teens to early 30’s, and for the following roles:
- Ichabod Crane – socially inept, gawky, thinks he’s a ladies’ man
- Brom Bones – arrogantly charming, conceited, a bully, physically imposing
- Yost – Brom’s buddy, an eagerly goofy, not too bright side kick
Audition Requirements:
- any song of your choice, less than 2 minutes long; a cappella or instrumental only CD accompaniment
- cold read from the script
- short, group dance session.
Rehearsals: Monday/Wednesday, 7:00 – 10:00 and Sundays, 1:00 – 4:00 for children’s scenes
Beginning January 10, 2016.
(No rehearsals during Spring break, March 13-20 or Easter weekend)
Show Dates: Three weekends - April 28-31, May 5-8, 12-14
