The Rainbow Club will be meeting Wednesday at lunch. Grab your
lunch and meet in the Lit Lounge. New members are always
welcome!
Hey 6th graders! Are you interested in bowling? Do you want to
learn how to bowl? Would you like to compete against other
schools? Or just have some fun! The Middle School Bowling Club
will have a table in the cafeteria during your lunch period on
Wednesday, December 21st. Coach Braun will answer any
questions you may have or you can sign up for the club and get
all the information you need. Hope to see you there!
Pokemon Club will meet Thursday during the first lunch (Argo &
Voyager lunch) in Mrs. Schlaak's room (rm 219) and during the
second lunch (Phoenix & Navigator lunch) in Mr. Solito's room
(rm 168). See you there!

Coat Drive
Just a reminder, today is the LAST day to bring in those coats
and snow pants so you can feel good that you are helping
others in need!!! There is a box in the lobby where you can

office by December 23rd. All checks should be written out to
Horace Mann. A list of students who have already ordered one is

How it works: 1. Collect 25 UNEXPIRED Box Tops
2. Attach them to a collection sheet
3. Write your Name on the sheet
4. Turn the collection sheet in to the office
5. You will get a raffle ticket for each sheet you turn in
Prizes: $5 gift cards (You can get collection sheets in the office or from your HR teacher)

Are you a parent of a Horace Mann student interested in helping your child
learn HOW MONEY WORKS? Tricia Retzlaff, a NJSD teacher, and Mitch
Nonn, a former NJSD teacher and now licensed Investment Advisor
Representative, invite you to learn and grow. We have an evening seminar for
YOU! For each date, we will begin at 6:37pm, in room 162, at Horace
Mann.
Who needs to come? Parents of Horace Mann students interested in
teaching their child about money and how money works through saving,
budgeting, shopping, credit, and investing. All participants will receive an entry
into a door prize give-away and a go to guide that reinforces information
presented.
Each session is limited to 25 adult participants. We will have sessions on
Thursday, Dec. 8, Wednesday, Jan. 18th, and Thursday, Feb. 9th. You only
would need to attend once.
Students brought home informational sign up slips. Please return the slip
to room 162, Mrs. Retzlaff, or email [email protected] your session
choice if you did not receive a slip and are interested in attending.
