The Clothing Closet was born out of the need for affordable, gender confirming clothing for transgender people in Mid­Missouri. We will also be offering clothes to all queer people in need, whatever the reason may be. The idea is to ease the
financial burden of transitioning or coming out for queer and trans people. It will work sort of like a clothing swap, where people bring in clothes they no longer
wear, and are able to get clothes others have donated. That way, by donating
clothes you are giving back to the community and the closet will never go empty.
