There are over 4000 university options in the US, with each desiring

University Entrance Exams
SAT I, SAT II, AND ACT: Almost all American universities may also ask
students to sit either the SAT or the ACT, as well as supplementary
SAT II Subject Tests. The SAT and ACT are standardised pre-entry
exams offered by competing examination organisations, so candidates
can choose between them.
Postgraduate Exams
Postgraduate students applying to graduate school in the US will
face a variety of standardised tests depending on the discipline
and level of study in question.
