beautiful Tallebudgera Estuary. If you are
looking for a water-based holiday you have
come to the right place! Tallebudgera is the
perfect location for a range of activities

skiing, windsurfing and canoeing. For those
who prefer the waves, the park is just across
the road for the beach and is also a short
stroll away from Burleigh Heads National
Park, which offers beautiful scenic walks and
a lush rainforest to explore.

How to be Local on a Sunday!
Visit a local café at Burleigh or palm Beach
and then head straight to The Village
markets to shop for the best in local fashion,
art and design whilst enjoying live music for
the local artists. The head to one of the many
restaurants located in Burleigh for a long
lunch and followed by sunset drinks at
Burleigh Point.

Looking for a Surfing Trip this
summer
Burleigh Beach which is just over the head land
from the park boasts one of the world’s top
surfing beaches. Did you know that Burleigh Point
is home to the first ever professional man-on-man
surfing contest? Book one of our 3 bedroom villas
for a laid-back surfing trip.

refurbishments just before the big rush for
Christmas. The park has also just completed some
major refurbishments to some of our waterfront
cabins and will be working hard to refurbish all the
cabins over the next year. The waterfront cabins
are laid back and have the best views of the
Tallebudgera Creek.
Changes to the park
The lap pool is now a quiet 18+ area to
accommodate those guests wishing to get away
and read a book whilst soaking up the sun in a
quiet area.
Wifi
The friendly reception team can organize
300MB of free data per stay/site for you. The
new company Freedom Internet provides a
paid service once this is used.
Discover the Hinterland
Once your done driving up and down the
coast to the beaches, head WEST! The drive
to Mount Tambourine is only approximately
40 minutes, take the time to visit the shops
and have some lunch at one of the various
little places on offer. A time to relax!

Evening with Spirit
Bonjour French Festival
Welcome to the third edition of the Sunshine
Renault Bonjour French Festival. The event
will be hosted on 11, 12 and 13 November
2016 with the intention of bringing the best
of France and French culture to the Gold
Coast.
This year, the Festival will be centrally
located in Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach, for all
the community to experience an exciting
showcase of the French cuisine, community
and culture in a beautiful Gold Coast
location.
The Bonjour French Festival will be
celebrated over two days and two nights,
including a French Film night showing
“Intouchables” in collaboration with the Gold
Coast Film Festival for a gold coin donation
entry.
The family-friendly festival will also host
activities such as arts and crafts, Bonjour Kids
Corner, history, music, educational activities,
and sports.
This event has become one of the major
events on the Gold Coast and prides itself to
bring more diversity every year. Thanks to
the Academy of Design, the event will allow
attendees to discover the variety of French
speaking countries around the world through
a Body Art Parade which will kick off the
Veolia Rouge Night on Saturday night. It will
be followed by French Can-Can dancers and
an international Big Band from New
Caledonia “Blue Blanc Blues”, 17 amazing
musicians on stage: Splendid!
Sunday 13 November 2016 will mark the first
anniversary of the Paris attacks and the
organizers have decided to hold an official
memorial as together we can all stand for
freedom and show the love that we have for
one another. Following the most recent
tragedy in Nice, the festival will have a
condolences book at the information tent
and an art installation, “The Walk of Love”,
which will be on site to pay tribute to the
victims and their families.

Let’s get together for a couple hours, meet
up, make new friends, eat healthy foods in an
uplifting environment and of course learn
how to meditate.
Every Thursday night 6.30 to 8.00 pm. (1st
Thursday of month includes a vegan meal)
We will practice mantra meditation and
connect spiritually. Experience an ancient
form of meditation to music.
Mantra meditation is where you focus your
mind on the sound vibration of the mantra. It
is a simple yet effective form of meditation
that takes your cares and worries away. You
will instantly feel relaxed and rejuvenated
ready for the challenges of a new week.
You dont need to be a good singer to enjoy
the benefits of this type of meditation. Even
just listening will help bring about a deeper
sense of relaxation and inner peace. Reawaken your true spiritual essence and
discover true knowledge of yoga wisdom.
The night will start with an introduction to
meditation and breathing exercises. Then we
will practise the art of meditation followed by
a delicious dessert. By this stage you will be
feeling quite relaxed.
