Accountancy & audit
We can manage the preparation of accounts for
either internal reports or external audits, and can
make sense of your records whether you keep them
organised in spreadsheet format, or have a
collection of invoices, bank statements and paying in
books.
All of your accounts will be prepared by our team of
experienced and qualified accountants, on time and
in line with statutory requirements, and you can rely
on us to be proactive in saving you tax, wherever
possible and sensible to do so.
In addition to Companies Act audits, we specialise in
reporting to the Solicitors Regulation Authority under
the current SRA accounts rules.
We are also responsible for other specialist
reporting, which includes the audits of pension
schemes, charities and the audit of other
organisations subject to specific industry regulations,
such as Financial Services companies, chartered
surveyors, estate agents and travel agents.
Corporate partner specialists
At Franklin Underwood we have a great deal of
experience forming effective Corporate
Partnerships and Limited liability partnerships
(LLP’s) for many of our clients, allowing them to
experience great tax savings.
One of the key elements of the structure is that it
gives the individuals involved limited liability in the
event of a claim in excess of their
Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Our Corporate Partnerships are very flexible,
allowing new partners to be integrated into the
structure easily, and allowing retiring partners to
leave. The structure can be set up for all sizes of
firm, with any number of partners.
Our structure is particularly suited to those in the
legal profession, with full compliance with Law
Society and Solicitors Regulation Authority rules.

area which requires a very detailed level of
knowledge of the taxation system.
