There is an error in the abstract of the paper “Comparison of protocols to synchronize estrus and ovulation in
estrous-cycling and prepubertal beef heifers” J. Anim. Sci. 2008. 86:1808–1818, doi:10.2527/jas.2008-0970. In the
second column of the abstract, line 7, the sentence reads as follows:
Among the estrous-cycling heifers, variance for interval to estrus after PG was reduced (P < 0.05) for C1 compared with each of the other treatments, and C2 was reduced (P < 0.05) compared with C3.
The corrected sentence should read (change noted in bold text):
Among the estrous-cycling heifers, variance for interval to estrus after PG was reduced (P < 0.05) for C1 compared with each of the other treatments, and C3 was reduced (P < 0.05) compared with C2.
