SPEAKER’S AGREEMENT FOR WMAX.TV
Please review he following document. In signing it, you, the Expert and WMAX.TV,
represented by Shirlene Reeves, are agreeing to the terms as noted below:
General Terms:
ü You agree to participate as an Expert for one interview or a series of interviews.
ü You agree to participate in one 30-minute interview and one 3 minute interview
on the subject area(s) discussed prior to the interview.
ü You agree the interview will be recorded by WMAX.TV.
ü WMAX.TV agrees to provide the back-end coordination and production of this
interview unless otherwise agreed with regard to recording, broadcasting, and
email reminders to participants.
ü Guest Experts will provide their own studio lighting, computer access and
materials necessary for their presentation.
Compensation:
ü You agree to do the interview without charge and agree not to request
compensation from WMAXTV at any point during recording or in the future.
ü Intellectual Property:
ü The materials you share on your Expert Interview may be utilized for your
marketing and educational purposes.
ü I understand that WMAX.TV owns the records and transcripts of the interview. I
hereby grand and agree that the Host, those for whom the Host is acting, and
those acting with the Host’s authority and permission, the absolute right and
permission to copyright, in the Host’s name or otherwise, and use, re-use, copy,
transmit, exhibit, publish, and re-publish the recordings, in whole or in part, on its
own or in compilation with other recordings, without restriction as to changes or
alterations, in electronic or mechanical format known or unknown, for any
purchase whatsoever.
ü WMAX.TV may re-purpose, re-sell and re-use your recording and interview
indefinitely, and without compensation to you.
ü You will be provided a link to the You Tube recording of your Expert call. You
are free to re-purpose, re-sell and re-use your expert interview indefinitely, and
without compensation to WMAX.TV unless both parties otherwise agreed.
ü I grant the Host the right to use my name, voice, appearance, likeness, image,
words, participation and title or professional designation, in whole or in part, in
any correspondence, publicity, advertising, promotional or other derivative
materials based on the Recordings, without compensation.
Marketing Commitment:
ü You agree to send to your community 1 solo-email, 1 newsletter blurb and
provide social media support, for the event within the promotional period,
between the date of your interview and the launch when the interview goes live.
ü We ask that, while marketing your interview that you give WMAX.TV and
Shirlene Reeves credit as the Host, and a provide a link to our website.
ü The signatures noted below indicate full agreement and compliance with the
terms requested and promises stated above. This agreement shall be binding
upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns.
