PARISH NEWS:
PRAY FOR THE ETERNAL REST of Melvin Speed, father of parishioner Mike (Becky) Speed.
Mr. Speed passed away on Monday, April 16th. Our prayers and sympathy are with his
family at this time of sorrow.
FAREWELL FOR DEACON DAN GIFFORD: Deacon Dan Gifford, who has been with us since
November of last year, is finishing his assignment here at St. Margaret. We will have a
farewell party for him this Sunday, April 22, following the 10:00 a.m. Mass in Kulp
Hall. He will be ordained for the Diocese of Peoria, Illinois next month. God bless
you, Deacon Dan, in your priesthood!
NOTE FROM FR. JEFF: The 2012 Bishop’s Annual Appeal will be taking place in our parish
on May 5 – 6. Every year the funds raised through this effort are a source of hope and
inspiration for many within our diocese. Our parish family has been asked to raise
$52,454. I am asking each family to please consider a gift of at $1.00 a day ($365.00)
over the next ten months. This will allow us to reach our goal and possibly exceed it.
When we exceed our goal, we will use the money we receive back from the diocese to
update our sound system. As a parish, we rely on each and every family to join together
2
to help us to do our part for the vision and mission of the Church. Thank you and God
bless.
YOUNG AT HEART CLUB will meet for a potluck lunch Monday, April 23, 1:00 p.m. in Kulp

Rehearsal will be held Saturday April 28th at 9 a.m. in the church. One parent must
remain for the rehearsal. Please contact Ruth Anne Wolansky, 921-0577 or
[email protected] if you have questions.
THE PARISH ST. VINCENT DEPAUL CONFERENCE will be collecting fifth Sunday donations
