Dear my host family… Hello! I`m Passamon. My nickname is Pamai

Dear my host family… Hello! I’m Passamon. My nickname is Pamai but I have a shorter version for you! You can call me “Mai” I’m
now 16 years old. I’m the youngest daughter.
There are lots of people in my family. We are a big family. There are dad, mum, granny, my older brother, my dog and me. I can
say that I don’t really feel lonely because there are always these people around me. I love them but sometimes I just don’t want to
let them know! Keeping it as a secret is kind of fun for me. I might act like an annoying girl to my parents but deeply I just want to
entertain them in my way! I know mum and dad never really mind about it even though they act like they do. They know that
without me there will be no one to play around them like me. Not my brother as he is older than me and he is always busy playing
with “Lego” and so on! Lego? Yeah…believe it or not, he will be 18 very soon.
I am one of the lucky girl because I have a lovely family. Even though my mum is a doctor and dad is an engineer, they always
have time for their family. If there are 4 of us (not including my granny as she is quite old for going out with us), we would go
shopping together or eat out or watch a movie together. We don’t really have time to go travelling as a family due to dad’s busy
schedule and extra classes my brother and I have. Now that I have moved to live in a dorm on my own, the chance to see them
everyday like before is so little. I miss them but I don’t feel lonely at all because we can chat and Skype.
There are lots of ways to communicate with them. Mum and dad actually call me every day so I feel like they are always close to
me.
My daily routine is not so different from when I lived in my house there is one thing that is really different from being with my
parents, which is to do all chores, from washing dishes to making my bed and so on! Since I have started my new school in a
different city, I have to live alone. My new school is the one, many kids dream to study in. It’s one of the top 10 schools in
Thailand. As I said it is one of the best, so there are lots of competition and pressure among students. Almost every kid in
Thailand has to go for tutorials and having extra classes. Students in my school are most of those kids including me as well.
I have to go for tutorials and have extra classes almost every day after school. I’m getting used to it now. If I want to have a better
future, now I have to study hard, right? When I finished school, I would do homework and revise for the next class, if I’m not so
lazy (which is kind of rare!).Talking about studying, you might want to know what are my favourite subjects. I like to study English,
Biology and languages. I’m studying Japanese now. I used to study Spanish and French. I love Spanish! If I have a chance, I
would study Spanish again!
Those are boring parts of my life. I lost lots of my free time but if I ever have one, I wouldn’t waste it! When I’m completely free, I
would read books. That’s my most favourite hobby. Don’t get me wrong! I love reading but not text books!!(I’m not that nerdy). I
love reading teen fictions, fantasy fictions or even crimes and detectives stories. They make me feel not so lonely when my friends
are too busy to chat with me. I also love to go to a library or book stores. When I see lots of interesting books, I am so excited.
Apart from being a book worm, I also like cooking and baking. I love sweets and bakeries. They smell so good, don’t they? I like to
see people happy when they eat my bakeries. It will be more fun when my friends join me and help me bake. I like to do exercises
like pilates or jogging. I like to spend time with my friends whether going out or chatting or baking. It always feels good to be with
friends.
Since I have started new school, I do miss my old friends but I never let go a chance to make new friends. I think I could say I’m
friendly. I quickly made friends with my new classmates. I like to be friend with new people. I think everyone has his own charm. I
want to get to know them all. I’m talkative and a bit impatient when I’m excited. Even though I am not that confident at all. I will be
