Feeding Leroy, 11:30 am
Feeding LeRoy is a unique project that
came out of the collaboration of Sonja and
Lee’s original songs blending with their
songwriting and vocal harmonies. It’s a
family affair now, with brother Luke stepping in on the harmonica and longtime
friend and bassist, Adam Staupe on the
upright bass, adding harmonies that create
somewhat of a gospel undertone.
Evergreen Grass Band, 1 pm
With an energetic and original three-piece
including guitar, bass and banjo, the EverGreen Grass Band has been winning ears
and hearts alike with their straight-forward,
face-melting ungrass songs, toe-tappin
country tunes and original grass arrangements of covers in any genre.
Galactic Cowboy Orchestra, 2:30 pm
The GCO appreciates and aspires to superior
musicianship while combining their love of
a good riff, hummable melody and groovy
jam... over a jazz/jazz-rock musical bedrock.
It all culminates in an intensely energetic live
performance because “we freakin’ love what
we do and love that the fans dig it too!! “
Ginstrings, 4 pm
A five-member string band from Minnesota
arranged as a traditional bluegrass group but
with diverse musical backgrounds. Rich warm
harmonies accompany tasteful melodies and
imaginative rhythms in original music that all
listeners will enjoy. With intriguing tunes and
a passionate performance, they are sure to
resonate with your soul.
Briand Morrison &
Sam Miltich, 11:30 pm
Two phenomenal guitar players from the
Northland join forces in this dueling gypsy
jazz duo. Sam Miltich, guitarist with the
Clearwater Hot Club and local guitar maestro
Briand Morrison weave their way through
scales and rhythms of gypsy swing and
traditional jazz compositions.
Joe Paulik, 1 pm
Joe’s songwriting style and impressive vocal range
has been compared to Gordon Lightfoot and his
lyrics to Neil Young. His repertoire inculdes a wide
range of music — from the Beatles to Dylan.
Spruce Roots, 2 pm

accompanied by a stellar cast with Jim
Elverhoy on harmonica, Jessa Frost on
fiddle, Bill Hansen on dobro and Travis
Wickwire on bass, the ensemble weaves
through a repertoire of Americana, folk
and bluegrass with a touch of swing and
rock and roll to get you on your feet.
Cook County’s Most Wanted, 4 pm

their eclectic choice of material, vocals and
mix of instruments, they are truly a favorite

East Bay Suites proudly announces their second annual Earth Day Beach

The day begins at 10 am with a presentation by Michaela Clingaman
with the Cook County Soil & Water Conservation District and Prairie Restorations Inc. Clingaman will speak about the efforts underway in Cook
County, along the North Shore, to mitigate shoreline erosion.
Volunteers made up of East Bay Suites guests, staff, and community
members will then hit the beach, trash bags in hand. We hope you will
join us to learn more about the dangers of shoreline erosion, and to do
our part to keep Grand Marais’ beaches clean.
Prairie Restoration Inc. will close the event with a presentation on
