I am a senior design student currently pursuing a double concentration in media arts and design in the Interactive Arts
and Technology (SIAT) program at Simon Fraser University. I believe design is a way of crafting digital solutions with a
human-centric approach. I focus on the needs and wants of my users and aspire to create designs that are truly

WORK EXPERIENCE
Marketing and Communications Assistant - SFU Health and Counselling Services
September 2014 - Present
Produced graphics for social media campaigns, brochures and other types of print and online media to further promote
the brand of the organization. Developed and implemented evaluation mechanisms to determine the effectiveness of
marketing and communication materials.
Result
Enhanced my reliablity and efficiency in delivering quality work in a timely manner. Developed a strong
knowledge of how to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns.
RELEVANT PROJECTS
Experience Design - Mobile Application
May - August 2014
Worked in a collaborative team of four to learn the ropes of Experience Design through completing research and
insight tasks, conducing user testing, creating journey frameworks and developing wireframes and prototypes.
Examined issues of interactivity in relations to the human context and technological systems.
Result
Learned the importance of tailoring design decisions to suit the needs and wants of users, to concept core
ideas and not just executions and to push digital experiences past the functional and into something more.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
President - Interactive Arts and Technology Student Union
September 2013 - 2014
Responsible for maintaining a strong and coherent relationship between the SIAT Student Community and the SIAT
Administration. Helped with the planning and execution of several workshops and events for undergraduate students
to attend.
Result
Helped develop my leadership skills, intercommunication skills, and the ability to multi-task and switch
between duties with little trouble.
SIAT Student Ambassador - School of Interactive Arts and Technology
October 2013 - January 2014
Conducted off campus presentations in local high schools to promote the SIAT program to potential students. Served
as a consultant and resource for internal departments in the recruitment and enrollment process.
Result
Enhanced my confidence and competence in delivering effective communication to a large audience.
Learned how to develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent.
