Mr. Steven McGee is the Assistant Superintendent and the Special Education Contact person for
the school district. Mr. McGee works very closely with parents of children who are already in
special education or who may need alternative placements outside of the school district. Mr.

Your child's guidance counselors are the building level contact people. They will help if you
believe that your child may be in need of special education or if you have questions about the
program. At the elementary, contact Mrs. Heather Thomas (255-8775), at the middle school,
contact Mrs. Teresa Mrozowski (255-8754) and at the high school, contact Mr. Keith Jones or
Mrs. Beth Stem (255-8736). Each building principal is also aware of the procedure for obtaining
special education services.
