am I doing? Where am I going? What is living all about anyway?

For some meaning in life is all about achievements.
For others meaning in life is all about happiness – do whatever makes me happy.
Or is ‘meaning in life’ simply the pursuit of physical and intellectual satisfaction and
nothing more?
Or do you take a ‘fatalist’ approach to life – just eat, drink, enjoy – for nothing really
matters?

Astounding facts about creation
They’ve even found in our galaxy
a planet which is racing through our galaxy
at 67,000 miles an hour
At the same time,
Its also rotating at a 1000 miles an hour
And this planet is called the earth and this is why you should wear a seatbelt
Now the earth has a sun or may be we should say our sun has us
The earth receives 99% of its energy from the sun
The sun converts for us 4 million tons of energy every second
And over a 11 year sun cycle, that energy output varies less than one tenth of
one percent
All of this at a distance of 93 million miles
92 million miles – no life on planet earth
94 million miles – no life on planet earth
Now the earth is unusual from other planets
The earth tilts on its axis at 23.5 degrees
Other planets on the solar system, earth ?:)
Now the question is why does the earth tilt
If the earth did not tilt, it will run the risk of what is called tidally locked
Which means one side of the earth would get stuck facing the sun all the time
While the other side of the earth would not see the sun
So the one side of the earth would get hotter and hotter until
It could not sustain human life
While the other side will get colder and colder until it could not sustain human
life
So this 23.5 degree tilt of the earth’s axis is just exactly precise to allow this
blue and green floating ball
To sustain human life which raises the question, ‘why does it tilt?’
It tilts because 40% of gravitational pull that comes from the sun pulls it over
The other 60% comes from the gravitational pull that comes from a little rock
that we have come to know as the moon
the moon and this pull is what allows planet earth to sustain life,
no moon… no life…
which raises the question, how did we get our moon?
Scientist believe that our moon was some sort of meteor or asteroid flying
through our galaxy
And essentially got stuck in the earth’s gravitational pull making it
the cosmo multiple equivalent of ….:)

Our atmosphere is 21% oxygen

The ocean – our oceans are 3.4% salt
Which is the exact percentage of salt in the human blood stream
4% of salt in the oceans or our blood stream – no life on planet earth
2% of salt in the oceans or our blood stream – no life on planet earth
This is called ‘the Science of fine tuning’
And there are 100s and 100s and 100s of these unbelievably precise numbers
That all add up to life on planet earth – carbon levels, gravitational force…
Density of minerals and primal elements
That all add up perfectly
Metaphor is this: it’s as if there are these dials to create and sustain life on
planet earth
Its as if there are 100s and 100s and 100s of these dials and every single one
of them has been adjusted
Just perfectly and this one goes to a 11.
And every single one of them, adjusted just perfectly 100s of them
It isn’t that there are 100s n 100s of them and somehow someone has
adjusted them just perfectly
There’s the haunting truth that if just one of them were slightly turned in any
direction
It would render the accuracy of all of the 100s of others irrelevant
It isn’t that there are 100s and 100s of these dials
Its if you messed with one of them it wouldn’t matter about the precise
accuracy of every single other one
What a strange mysterious floating blue and green ball we call HOME.
All of creation, the entire universe is nothing but a huge signpost saying God is real,
He has designed everything and He has a purpose for all that He created.

Where there is design, there is purpose.
God, our Creator is Infinitely Great

Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How

You were created by God, uniquely designed by Him for a purpose here on earth!
You are God's Masterpiece. You are God's handiwork. You were designed in God's
own image.
Psalm 139:13,14
13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And
that my soul knows very well.
Two main purposes God created you for:
1, for YOU to personally relate to God
Adam was created as part of God’s family (Luke 3:38)
God does not want you to be involved in dead and meaningless religion that
does not engage you personally with Him
God does not want you to have a morbid, unhealthy fear of God – but He
wants you to relate to Him as a son or a daughter of God.
2, for YOU to personally represent God
Adam was created to represent God on earth (Genesis 1:26)
When you personally relate to God – have a strong personal relationship with God,
and make it your primary purpose to personally represent Him here on earth – you
will begin your journey of discovery of finding meaning and purpose.
Our whole purpose is to KNOW Him and GLORIFY Him. Out of this comes God’s
specific purpose for you in life – which gives meaning, defines direction, and directs
decisions in life.
A personal relationship with God is possible because of Jesus.
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,
to those who believe in His name:
The Lord Jesus Christ, the One who created all things, became a man, came into this
world, and died on the cross – bearing the sin, the shame, the pain of the whole
world. All our wrong doing and judgment of our sins was upon Him. He was buried
and He rose up the third day! He ascended back into heaven and is alive today. He
has the power to forgive sin for everyone who believes in Him.
The meaning of life begins when you meet with the One who is the Creator of life –
the Lord Jesus Christ.
