COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Resident & Business Owner
OCCUPATION: Asset Management at the NRP Group, Co-Owner of Mason’s Creamery
HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN/HAD A BUSINESS IN OHIO CITY?: We opened
Mason’s Creamery in October 2014, and moved into our house in September 2014.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO SERVE ON THE OHIO CITY INCORPORATED BOARD OF
TRUSTEES?: My husband and I lived in many different places, but Ohio City is the first place
that’s felt like a real neighborhood. That’s why we chose to both live and open our first business
here. I am committed to keeping Ohio City the vibrant community that we fell in love with, and
am happy to do anything I can to ensure its continued growth and success.
DESCRIBE YOUR INVOLVEMENT WITH NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATIONS,
COMMITTEES, PROJECTS OR BLOCK CLUBS: I am involved in the 44th/Bridge block club
and the Urban Land Institute.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON IN OHIO CITY AND WHY?: Summer! It’s wonderful getting those few extra daylight hours and seeing the entire neighborhood walking around,
whether it’s to Ohio City Stages or the restaurants around the area. Being so close to the lake
doesn’t hurt either!
