Feedback from Breakfast Club and After School Club Survey
Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you for your responses to the recent questionnaire regarding the current provision of before and after
school care at Staveley CP School. We received responses from 27 families.
For breakfast club,
club 18 families would like breakfast club to start from 8am or 8.15am and 8 families would
like it start before 8am. The 9 families who were happy with the current provision wanted no increase in fees
but 17 out of 18 families who would like the hours extending were happy to pay up to £5 per session.
For after school clubs,
clubs over 50% of families were satisfied with the current provision with just 7 families
wanting care extending beyond 5.30pm.
As a result of your replies, the Governing Body have been working with Miss Miller looking at the possible
options available to us. From September 2014, breakfast club will start at 8am and will cost £3. We are still
looking at the options for after school clubs but, as demand for extended care was not as much as expected, the
initial plan is to run clubs until 4.30pm for 3 afternoons per week and until 5pm for 1 afternoon per week.
Details will be circulated when available.
Unfortunately this may not meet the demands of all families but, as always, the education and well-being
of pupils remains our primary concern.

We learnt all about the history of the RNLI, all of the
different lifeboats that are sent to rescue and what the
different flags mean to keep us safe near water. Here are
some of our own RNLI members!
East Barnby – We had a
fantastic week at East Barnby, the
children and staff thoroughly

It was an absolute pleasure to take

Miller, Mrs A and Mr Howson.
