How To: Export Progress from InteGrade Pro
PLEASE read these instructions entirely!
Disclaimer: It is impossible to write accurate, specific directions that apply to all
teachers because of the multitude of grading methods. These instructions have
been written and tested for what we believe to be the majority of gradebooks.
Desired Results:
• Complete the End Term spreadsheet for each of your classes. Use
“Replace Task” to copy grades from Total Points spreadsheet, then enter
citizenship, comments, and Teacher Assistant. grades manually.
• Export this information from your gradebook so it can be imported into
SASI by the office to generate report cards.
1. Open the End Term spreadsheet for this reporting period. You probably
need to switch from QUARTER (Numeric Total Points).
****Be sure to choose Progress 1, 2, 3, or 4 spreadsheet. Do NOT select
“Quarter Progress Report”.
IF you did not use a QUARTER (Numeric Total Points) spreadsheet to
calculate Letter Grades, which was included in the gradebook template,
select the spreadsheet you created to calculate grades.

2. Click on the Progress Grade Column heading.
3. Click on Replace Task.
4. From the window that appears, choose the spreadsheet you have been
using this marking period. It should contain the most recent tasks and
grades. Be sure to choose the correct one!

10. Check the Hot Link Grades box if desired.
Note: Hot Link Grades will update the End Term spreadsheet when changes
are made to the working spreadsheet for the reporting period (i.e., 1ST QUARTER
(Numeric Total Points)). Teachers will have to meet a deadline for exporting
grades, but the “grading window” is now obsolete.

Click OK.
IF you see the box below, correct any invalid grades (they appear in bold). For
example, “E” is invalid, must be changed to “F”.

All Letter Grades will be copied from the working spreadsheet to the Progress 2
Grade column of the End Term spreadsheet.
12. Special Scores must be entered manually. Enter CR, I, NC in field
for each student.
After entering Special Scores, you will see the window below. Click Yes.

13. Right-Click on the Progress Comment # 1 column to enter a
CITIZENSHIP mark for each student.
14. Right-Click on the Progress Comment #2 AND Progress Comment #3
columns to choose COMMENTS for each student. You may give each
student up to TWO comments.
** Comment #1 column (CITIZENSHIP), choose from letters A – E.
** Comment #2, #3 columns (COMMENTS), choose from letters G – T.
****REPEAT THIS PROCESS FOR ALL CLASSES IN THE
CURRENT REPORTING PERIOD!!!****

15. From the File menu, choose Export From Gradebook.
16. Place an “X” in the current reporting period. Make sure it is the correct
period! ** Please note: Progress 1,2,3,4, is included in the grading
period.
17. Click Next.

You will see the following Warning box. Please read it!

IF the error refers to the spreadsheet, Progress 1,2,3 or 4, click Cancel,
and correct the problem(s).
**** FAILURE TO CORRECT ERRORS AT THIS POINT WILL
RESULT IN INACCURATE STUDENT GRADES!!!!! ****

17. Almost finished. If you’ve read and followed all steps up to this point, and
have grades entered for all classes, click Export.
18. The location for the export file should already point to the correct folder on
the network. Verify the location is: F:\IGPDATA\070\###, where ### is
YOUR teacher number folder.

Click OK. Answer “No” to read the error log.
