ENGLISH
1.) Create your picture biography, including any five most important moments of your life. Write why these
were significant to you, in about 100-150 words. Collect photographs or make drawings related to these
moments.
2.) Read the ‘editorial section’ of a newspaper, in your holidays. Write a short summary/analysis of any two
interesting articles you come across, in about 100 words. Remember, it should be your interpretation and not
simply copied and pasted text. Use A4-size, ruled sheets for the same.
3.) Make a beautiful bookmark for your Literature reader. Decorate it and write a famous quotation by a
well-known author/poet who inspires you.
4.) Choose an author of your choice and read any work(short story/ novella/ novel) by him/her.
Find 20 difficult words from the book. Refer to the dictionary and find the meaning, synonym and antonym
of each word. Write them down in your English notebook.
Be prepared to give a presentation of the book read by you after the holidays.
