Conceptual Design
•A spring
loaded hand held
cannon
•Channeled
guidance system for
the fruit to be launched using a
pressure plate attached to a
compression spring.
•Initial ideas
included Velcro
straps and a handle grip.
Actual Design
•
Used 2 in. PVC pipe for
the channeled guidance
system.
•
Pressure plate made from
cutting circular piece of
plastic to fit perfectly
within cannon.
•
Cut and sanded a wooden
grip handle to comfortably
fit in hand.
•
Painted with an elegant
and fun color scheme.
