COURSE CONTENT
The complete 3-day course will provide attendees with an understanding of
the fundamentals and practical applications involved in gold sampling and
mass balancing using Echant and BILCO software. The first day will cover
gold sampling and the remaining two days will cover mass balancing.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and work through problems
specific to their own site/application. A one month software license (Echant
and BILCO) is included with each registration.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The courses are designed to provide metallurgists with the knowledge and
software tools to determine the sampling errors associated with different
sampling protocols and calculate reconciled (coherent) mass balances for
laboratory testwork, plant surveys and routine metallurgical accounting.
Plant metallurgists, senior metallurgists, consultants and design engineers
new to, or already working in, the gold industry who wish to upgrade or
renew their knowledge in gold sampling and mass balancing.
COST
Subscription costs are; Gold Sampling Course (1 day), $770* inc GST,
Mass Balancing Course (2 days), $1500* inc GST, Gold Sampling and Mass
Balancing ( 3 days), $2100* inc GST.
* A 10% discount is offered for participants whose companies are sponsors of the
AMIRA Project P420C – Gold Processing Technology.
The cost includes a one month software license (Echant and BILCO),
comprehensive set of notes and lunch, morning and afternoon tea on each
day.
LOCATION AND TIME
The course will be held at the New Horizons Training Centre, Level 6, 5 Mill
Street, Perth WA, from Wednesday to Friday, December 6-8, commencing
at 8.30 am and finishing at 5.00 pm on each day.
