FUNDRAISING
WINTER DRUMLINE FUNDRAISER
DISCOUNT CARDS! The goal is to have each student sell 10 cards.
Sell cards to friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and more. The cards are valued over
$300 and good at ALL valley locations.
For every 5 sold you get a FREE card and for
every 10 sold you are entered into a Cash Raffle.
The top seller will receive a VISA Gift Card.
Participating merchants: Danny’s Car Wash,
Pizza Hut, Dunkin Donuts, The Good Egg, Firehouse Subs, Port of
Subs, Del Taco, Barro’s Pizza, Dickey’s, Sport Clips, and Mira Bella

to receive individual credit for your contributions last
quarter. We have extended the deadline. You have until
March 10, 2015 to turn them in.
CHARMS - PLEASE check your CHARMS fee statement to make sure everything on there is current and accurate (especially tax credits). If you see discrepancies, please contact LeAnne ASAP at [email protected] .
CANDY BARS! We still have a few boxes of chocolate
candy bars left to sell. This is a GREAT opportunity to
earn money for your band/guard fees. If you have

MEMBER ELECTIONS AND BOARD APPOINTMENTS
GILBERT BAND BOOSTER (GBB)
2015/2016 BOARD POSITIONS
It is time to ask our booster members if they are interested in being on the 2015-2016
GBB Board. There are two boards: EXECUTIVE and ADVISORY.
The Executive Board is made up of five (5) members: President,
Secretary, Treasurer, Drumline Chair, and Guard Chair. The Advisory Board is made up
of fourteen (14) members: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Drumline Chair, Guard
Chair, Socials, Fundraising, Trips & Travel, Volunteer, Equipment, Book-keeper, Uniforms, Public Relations, and Concert Band.
The President, Secretary, and Treasurer are elected by the Advisory Board and must
have previous GBB Board experience. The Drumline Chair and Guard Chair are
appointed by the Band Director, upon recommendation of the current board. The
Advisory Board positions are appointed by the band director, upon recommendation
of the current board.
Although we have previous board members staying, there are several vacancies that
need filled. You may look up the definition of responsibilities for each board member
by going to www.tigerpride.org and clicking on the GBB Standing Rules on the Home
page.
Please contact Karen Ferrin if you have an interest in getting more involved by serving on the board. The new Board will be determined in April, will attend the May
board meeting, and then take over on June 1, 2015.
