Sue Chandler - Dressage (45 minute sessions per rider)
EA NCAS Level 2 General Coach, EA NCAS Level 3 Dressage Coach, EA Coach and Judge Educator, EA NOAS “A” Level Dressage Judge/Mentor . Sue started riding in the UK at the age of 12 and although from a
totally non horsey background, went straight from school to work in the horse industry and eventually
ended up running the riding school where she had learned to ride. In 1978, an opportunity took her to
work in Australia at the AEA, Wallington, for Fred Hoevenaars. Here she was teaching and working
young horses with PLENTY off the track. She also did quite a lot of eventing - mainly on young horses and rode several horses in dressage. It was at AEA that she started to compete on KAB, an ex racehorse
that had evented in pony clup and open classes. Eventually she rode to Intermediate II on him. In 1982,
Sue went to Oakwood at Narre Warren where she was manager/Chief Instructor for 4 years. She has
also worked at Statene Park and rode Runs on Love to Grand Prix and competed him at Oakwood in the
first Berwick Classic. Sue loves the challenge of helping people with their horses and has gained qualifications as both an instructor and a judge, with an emphasis on dressage, and is highly sort after for her
wide range of skills. Sue may be available for session on Friday afternoon, contact Lisa Hur-
rell on 0437119929 or [email protected] if interested in having a Friday lesson.
