FAITH
SHAPER
WORKBOOK
A NOTE TO KIDS
Kid’s Klub wants to help you learn to love God with your
whole life. This comes from the belief that God wants for
you to completely give your whole life to him. And that
God wants to shape every part of your life. He wants
you to Know Him, Love Him and Live for Him. From your
Head to your Heart to your Hands, God wants all of you.
This booklet will help you to daily give your whole life
to God. It is divided into three parts that cover different
parts of your life.
Isaiah 64:8 puts it like this, “You, Lord, are our Father. We
are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of
your hand.”
So think of yourself as the clay and let this booklet help
you get on the potter’s wheel so God can shape your
life from head to toe. By the end we are sure you will see
how you have grown to Know Him, Love Him and Live
for Him more.
THIS BOOK BELONGS TO
A NOTE TO PARENTS
We are so glad your child has this Faith Shaper booklet.
We hope it is a helpful tool for your child to grow in their
relationship with God.
As your child dives into the different parts of this booklet
they may need your assistance. You may need to explain
direction more clearly, listen to memory verses or let
them practice sharing The Good News with you. Your
encouragement will be needed, and discussing how their
faith is being shaped will be essential too.
There is no rush to complete everything in the booklet.
In fact we have tried to include more than a 2-4 grader
can complete in a year. But it is all included to give a
picture of the complete journey they will be on through
4th grade. It is designed so that a child can work on any
part of the booklet at any given time. They don’t have to
go through it from cover to cover. Each year your child
will be encouraged to go through a new Faith Shaper
booklet. This will allow your child to highlight new things
they are learning from year to year. They will be able to
see how they are growing. Work at a pace that allows for
not just learning the content and doing the activities, but
helps them learn the process for future growth.
The intent of this booklet and the future booklets
is to create some milestone moments that you can
celebrate with your child. So as a parent embrace this
opportunity to record what you see God doing in your
child’s heart, mind and life.
HEART SHAPER
How is God shaping your heart?
HEART SHAPER
On the next couple of pages you’ll have a chance to write
down ways God is shaping your heart. What attitudes
and feelings about God are you experiencing this year?
How are you growing in your love for God and your trust
in Him? This section will be like a journal. The following
questions will help you think about what to write about
how God is shaping your heart.
Prayer Time:
1 Timothy 2:1 “First, I tell you to pray for all people, asking
God for what they need and being thankful to him.”
Write down some things you love about God. Think of
things that He has done and things that describe what
God is like. Keep adding to this list throughout the year.
When you pray, praise Him for the things you love about
Him.
God, I want to praise you for being…
HEART SHAPER
God, I want to praise you for the following things you
have done.
Thank you for…
HEART SHAPER
When you pray you are letting God know that you trust
Him with the things you care about. Keep a list of things
you are asking God to help you with. Also keep a list of
other people you are asking God to help and what you’d
like God to do for them.
God, please help me…

God, please help the following people…

God, I love you!
When we love someone we let them know it in different
ways. We may show our love by willingly spending time
with them. We might give them a gift or do something
special for them. We might say something that lets them
know how much we love them. When it comes to your
relationship with God, make an on going list of things
that are a part of your life that let God know how much
you love him. Remember, the things we do are not to
earn God’s love, but in response to God’s love.
“We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

The Bible
One of the best ways to hear what God wants to say to you is to
look in the Bible. Are you becoming more familiar with where to
look for things in the Bible? Do you understand how the stories are
connected together?
With the list below mark the stories that you have heard and that
you know. Then underline those that you can easily find in your
Bible. In the blank you can write the book of the Bible you would
find the story. Who would you ask to help you learn where these
stories are found if you don’t know yet?

Hide God’s Word in Your Heart
If you have God’s Word with you all the time it can be
a part of how God molds and shapes you all the time.
It can remind you of what you know about God. It can
guide you when you have choices to make. It can help
you stand on the promises God has made. Paul wrote to
Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:16, “Everything in the Scriptures
is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping
people and for correcting them and showing them how
to live.”
Select verses from each of the pages. Once you have
it memorized have your parent sign & date the blank.
Additional blanks are provided on each verse so that you
can repeat the verse several times.
“Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.”
