Year 8 Spanish Home Learning Project: Celebrity Family Tree Name Family Members Objective: To create a Celebrity Family Tree by MAKING LINKS and THINKING CREATIVELY! You are currently studying family and descriptions. You are going to create a celebrity family tree and will use this to then give a 3 minute presentation to the rest of the class. Year 8 Spanish Home Learning Project: Celebrity Family Tree Planning Task 1 - Think about who you would like to have in your celebrity family. You need to include the following: Mum Dad Brother Sister Grandmothers Grandfathers Uncles Aunts Cousins Pets are optional! Task 2 - Conduct a Google image search and try to find pictures of the celebrities and their ages. Basic description describing their hair and eye colour 4. Extra special features. When labeling your family tree, use the success criteria below: Level 1 You write or copy simple words or symbols correctly. You label items and select appropriate words to complete short phrases or sentences. Level 2 You write one or two short sentences, following a model, and fill in the words on a simple form. You label items and write familiar short phrases correctly. When you write familiar words from memory, your spelling may be approximate. Level 3 You write a few short sentences, with support, using expressions that you have already learnt. You express personal responses. You write short phrases from memory and your spelling is readily understandable. Level 4 You write short texts on familiar topics, adapting language that you have already learnt. You draw largely on memorized language. You begin to use your knowledge of grammar to adapt and substitute individual words and set phrases. You begin to use dictionaries or glossaries to check words you have learnt. Focus on your literacy targets as well as using connectives to develop your sentences and ensure that your spelling is accurate to achieve maximum marks.
