AllCells operates a privately owned, high capacity human cell collection facility managed by
highly trained clinicians to provide customers with a consistent, reliable source of blood and
bone marrow from a large, diverse donor pool. Researchers can review donor samples and
select specific donors based on age, race, treatment history, disease, and phenotypes.
AllCells is fully certified in accordance with local, state and federal requirements. Our products
are obtained from donors participating in an IRB (Institutional Review Board) certified facility.
All collections are performed under approved methods for screening HIV, Hepatitis B and
Hepatitis C before donation to ensure product safety standards.
Recent product additions include cancer cells and molecular products such as comprehensive
RNA (containing the microRNA) and cDNA. We can also provide custom research services to
meet the needs of innovative biotechnology and academic research projects.

Primary Cultured Cells
Highly purified primary cells are cultured in cell-type serum-supplemented media. After
culture, the desired cells are harvested; if necessary, the cells are purified further, using
immunomagnetic MicroBead methods. FACscan analysis is used to verify cultured cell
properties. Cultured cells are available in OptiCell® plate or frozen formats.
Lysates
AllCells provides fresh primary cells that have been lysed and frozen in TRIZOL® at
1-5x106/mL or 50-100x106/5mL concentration ranges. The lysates are mixed thoroughly
and kept at -80°C. Lysate products are ideal for making RNA and cDNA but not for
protein purifications.
AllCells Comprehensive RNA (cRNA) includes a combination of Total RNA(>200nt)
small and micro RNA (19-200nt) from viable human cells. These cells are isolated from
human blood, bone marrow or umbilical cord blood, using immunomagnetic MicroBead
labeling procedures. The purity of the cells is analyzed by FACS assay and is higher
than 90%. AllCells uses an optimized phase extraction method to isolate the freshly
purified cells, which are lysed with TRIZOL® reagent.

AllCells provides a wide range of primary hematopoietic cells, which are available
from numerous sources including normal peripheral blood (NPB), G-CSF mobilized
peripheral blood (MPB), bone marrow (BM), cord blood (CB), and fetal liver (FL).
Human skin cells and non-human primate primary cells are available as well.

Through these tissue types, we can isolate MNC, HLA-A2+ MNC, Platelets, Basophils, Eosinophils, Neutrophils,
Monocytes, B Cells, T Cells, NK Cells, Early Progenitor Cells, Marrow Stromal Cells, and many more.
Positive selection process: cells of interest are magnetically labeled with MicroBeads and isolated as the magnetically
retained cell fraction. This is the most direct and specific way to isolate target cells from heterogeneous cell
suspensions. We guarantee that positively selected cells have a purity of ≥90%.
Negative selection process: also known as untouched cell isolation is the depletion of unwanted cells. Non-target cells
are magnetically labeled and eliminated from the cell mixture by immunomagnetic separation. The non-magnetic,
untouched cell fraction contains the target cells. Untouched cells are less likely to be activated by antibodies. We
guarantee that the cell purity is ≥85% in this case.

Every qualified lot of AllCells’ Comprehensive RNA product has high purity and
integrity. Each lot has been validated by the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. In addition, the
Comprehensive RNA product is shown to have intact tRNA, 5s, 5.8s, 18s, and 28s rRNA,
and an extremely minimal presence of genomic DNA.
Total RNA
AllCells human primary cell Total RNA is highly purified from viable human cells. These
cells are isolated from human blood, bone marrow, or umbilical cord blood, using
immunomagnetic MicroBead labeling procedures. The cell purity is analyzed by FACS
assay and is generally higher than 90%.
Freshly purified cells are lysed in RNase-free conditions. Total RNA is isolated with an
optimized RNA purification method. Residual genomic DNA is further removed with
RNase-free Dnase I.
cDNA
Human primary cell cDNA is synthesized from highly purified RNA, which is derived
from high purity, hematopoietic cells. These cells are isolated from human blood,
bone marrow, or umbilical cord blood, using immunomagnetic MicroBead labeling
procedures.
RNA is purified from the cells by using an optimized procedure to ensure that the
cDNA is of highest quality and free of genomic DNA contamination.

Additionally, each purified cell product package
contains a FACScan Dot Plot such as shown to the
right. The figure is a depiction of a FACScan dot plot
for CD34+ Progenitor Cells. The dot plot depicts
a logarithmic measurement of cell surface marker
expression intensity by a fluorescent antibody versus
cell number. The left peak represents the control and
the right peak shows positive specificity.
