Parent Choice
The time has come for Alberta citizens to publicly demand that parents and legal guardians be returned to
their primary position as first point of contact for their
children in school relating to any issues around bullying,
protection, care and education.
There is an open letter to the Education Minister on
the website www.parentchoice.ca. When you add your
name to this open letter to demonstrate your support, an
email will automatically be sent directly on your behalf to
Education Minister David Eggen, Wildrose Education
Critic Mark Smith, PC Education Critic Sandra Jansen,
as well as the leaders of each political party.
The specific requirements stated in the open letter will
also be used in candidacy surveys for anyone seeking
election to public office – including school board trustee
elections next fall and those seeking leadership of the
PC party in the spring.

of parents as the primary caregivers and educators of
their children in all provincial legislation and school board
policies.

to join the campaign and help spread the word in order to
increase public pressure on our elected representatives
and insist on parental consent.
