EDITORIAL
Esteemed readers,
Come this time of the year and it is time for one of the
most important festivals of the world calendar – Christmas.
This festival of joy and merriment is celebrated across the
world with great fervor and enthusiasm.
Christmas is both a sacred religious holiday and a
worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two
millennia, people around the world have been observing it
with traditions and practices that are both religious and
secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the
birth anniversary of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader
whose teachings form the basis of their religion. Popular
customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas
trees, attending Church, sharing meals with family and
friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.
Keeping in sync with the festivities,
Shri D.C. Deka [CE(O)-LPG] has been promoted as
Head-LPG (Maint), with effect from 01.01.2012.
Shri D.C. Deka as Head-LPG(M) will now be overall
in-charge of all types of maintenance activities of LPG
Recovery and Filling plants and will be responsible for
effective maintenance of both the installations. Our
hearty congratulations to Shri D.C. Deka.
In conclusion, we wish all our readers a
“Merry Christmas” and pray that the blessings of the
Lord endows their lives with happiness and prosperity.
