ABOUT DURANITE®
Duranite® is ScanCom’s solution for durable table tops.
Duranite® is made from high quality fibre cement board which
is coated with a multi-layer polymer based paint. Duranite® can
withstand all weather conditions making it the ideal replacement
for natural stone.
Duranite® is scratch resistant. The quality of the surface can
be attributed to a unique hardening process which each table
top undergoes in the final stages of coating. This finishing process also contributes to the excellent weather resistance and low
maintenance of Duranite® table tops.
Duranite® comes in a range of natural colours and can be custom
selected to create an exclusive look for your furniture collection.

Duranite® is an extremely durable material that has been
coated to withstand all types of weather and outdoor
environments, all year round.

Duranite® become scratched or chipped, ScanCom has
developed a Duranite® Touch up Kit to help repair.

MAINTENANCE
Duranite® is extremely durable and requires very little maintenance. Should your Duranite® surface become dirty, soap and water
should be used to clean it.
Should the edge of your Duranite® table become chipped or damaged, we recommend you use ScanCom’s Duranite® Touch Up
Kit. ScanCom’s Duranite® Touch Up Kit is easily applied to the edge repairing any Duranite® that has been chipped or damaged.
Duranite® Touch Up Kit
Step 1:
Place the table in a cool dry environment. Ensure the edge of the Duranite® is dry, clean and free of dust or
grease.
Step 2:
Shake the touch up kit stick thoroughly.
Step 3:
Apply a thin layer of the touch up kit liquid directly onto the damaged area. Wait for five minutes and then
apply a second layer if the first is not sufficient.
Step 4:
Leave the table for 24 hours to allow the liquid to fully dry.
24 hrs
