Medicine with the German State Examination Qualification in the Quota for Non-German Students (1) The application for admission must be accompanied by proof of the result of a standardised German test (TestDaF, DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang = German language test for university entrance, See http://en.dsh-germany.com/) or DSH equivalent). (2) The application for admission may be accompanied by proof of the result of a “Test for Academic Studies” for applicants from non-EU countries (TestAS; see www.testas.de/en). (3) The application for admission may be accompanied by proof of criteria according to para. 8 below. For proof of previous studies, please provide a certificate from the previous university clearly stating the degree course and the number of semesters attended. The letter of motivation shall be evaluated by a commission to be called at the Faculty of Medicine. The aspects to be considered are the external quality, a convincing argumentation to prove the candidate’s interest in medicine, if applicable with reference to previous occupation or practical experience or extra-mural/nonuniversity achievements which may contribute to proof of aptitude.
