Terms and Conditions for Cookery Demonstrations with Lunch
At Rectory Cottage 2015
Prices
1) Demonstrations cost £40 per person. All prices include tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival
at 11am, followed by tastings and a three course lunch or buffet style meal. The day
usually ends at around 3.30pm.
2) Group Bookings - £42 per head for 8 people, £40 per head for 10 or 12 people.
Discounts are available for groups booking twice a year.
Payment terms
1) Payments are accepted in cash or by cheque made payable to ‘Teresa Bovey’. Please
do not send cash in the post. Credit / Debit cards are not currently accepted.
Full payment for individual bookings is required two weeks in advance.
2) We also offer £20 and £40 gift vouchers which can be redeemed against the full or partial
cost of a demonstration.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Cancellation
1) If you cancel an individual or group booking within a week of the demonstration, a £20.00
gift voucher will be offered (per person for a group booking) which can be used on an
alternative date. Vouchers are valid for 6 months and are subject to demonstration
places being available.
2) Teresa reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a demonstration in the event of:
a. Insufficient demand
b. Unforeseen circumstances
3) If Teresa cancels or changes the date of a demonstration, customers who have already
paid will either receive a full refund or their payment will be transferred to the new
demonstration date or an alternative, convenient date.
Private demonstrations
1) Private group demonstrations are available to groups of 8-12 people on a mutually
convenient date. Please contact Teresa for available dates and a choice of themes for
the demonstration.
Full payment for group demonstrations is required 2 weeks in advance.
Location & timings
All demonstrations take place at the above address unless otherwise advertised.
Demonstrations start at 11am with refreshments, followed by a 1 ½ hour demonstration and a
buffet style or three course lunch. Please visit the website or contact us if you need directions and
/ or a map. Ample parking is available on the Rectory Cottage driveway.
