The Triple Helix Summit has three main organs: The Steering Committee, the Scientific Committee and the
Secretariat. The Steering Committee is chaired by the Office of the Deputy President and has
representatives from the various ministries, Private Sector, Academia, Civil Society and Triple Helix
Association. The Scientific Committee is led by various universities with a goal of ensuring the
implementation of the SDGs is based on research and evidence. The Secretariat’s role is to ensure a timely
execution of the Summit deliverables. The Secretariat is hosted by I Choose Life - Africa.

I Choose Life- Africa in partnership with the Triple Helix Association
is honored to host the International Triple Helix Summit on the 20th
February to 22nd February 2017 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The theme of the 2017 Conference is “ ICT + Data: Accelerating
the attainment of SDGs”. The conference will introduce the
Quodra Helix Approach and provide a platform to engage and
share best practices on how we can accelerate the attainment
of Vision 2030 and the SDGs in using ICT and data.
