QUALITY
DESCRIPTION & CRITERIA
EXPERIENCE
A well-qualified recycler will understand refineries, processes, catalysts, and applications, in
addition to their core competencies of placing spent materials into advantaged markets and reuses.
Those who have demonstrated success in this field for over 30 years are duly considered to be
experienced.
COST
Whether refining margins are strong or weak like today, turnaround costs go straight to the bottom
line. Selecting low cost services assure cash expenses are minimized. Economic gains from
recycling are subject to metal market fluctuations and varying material compositions. But costs will
be costs: select a low cost service to avoid surprises and unexpected outcomes.
FLEXIBILITY
Flexibility of service is important. Why? Because recycling where there is little or no flexibility can
lead to material rejection, errant decisions, and unforeseen and uncontrolled losses. Recycle spent
materials into flexible and forgiving processes and markets in order to achieve predictable results.
RISK
MINIMIZATION
Spent, hazardous waste shipments carry a certain element of risk. Transfers, traversing great
distances, and repeated handling of these shipments can substantially add to this risk. Refiners can
minimize environmental risk and liability by sending materials directly to a domestic treatment
facility that processes hazardous waste into a recyclable product.
TRUST
Recycled materials create economic value. But who best assesses that value? Trust the service who
insists on objective, third-party sampling and testing of materials. Look for this as indication of
business transparency and commitment to best operating practices.
INTEGRITY
Law abiding companies are comprised of law abiding people - it’s just that simple. Ensure your
service providers have unblemished records in all facets of operation. If a company or its people fail
to respect the law, why bother to respect their customers?
Amlon Resources Group prides itself on meeting the most stringent industry standards in the field of metal bearing
materials recycle, resourcing and supply. If your supplier does not fully check out, check with us today!

METALS ANALYSIS
1.
The first large scale production incorporating vanadium in steel helped reduce weight
and increase tensile strength for use in what well-known product?
2.
The metal that is 8th most abundant in earth’s crust, 9th most abundant in the
universe, 10th most abundant in the sun, and the 11th most abundant element in the
human body is what?

3.
Cloud seeding, a form of weather modification, is a technique aimed at altering the
amount or type of precipitation. Can you name the metallic iodide most commonly
used for this purpose?
Tim Cimperman
4.
This element, like water, is one of very few substances that is actually more dense in
the liquid than in solid state. Can you name this “poor metal” used in greases to
cosmetics, and in magnets to fishing sinkers? Where are all the anglers?
5.
Americium is the only synthetic element to have found its way into household use. In
what extremely important household product does one find the metal Am?
