Block Facebook service accessed by the users via URL

CSM without object-based settings: Vigor2910, Vigor2930, Vigor2950 …and etc.
CSM with object-based settings: Vigor2110, Vigor2710, Vigor2820, VigorPro5300, VigorPro5500,
VigorPro5510 …and etc.
I. Block the web page containing the word of “Facebook”

CSM without object-based settings, take Vigor2950 as an example.
Open CSM>>URL Content Filter Profile. In the field of Keyword, please type “facebook”.
Check ACT. After configuring, save the profile.

CSM with object-based settings, take Vigor2110 as an example.
1. Open Object Settings>>Keyword Object. In the field of Contents, please type facebook.
Configure the settings as the following figure.

2. Open CSM>>URL Content Filter Profile. Configure the settings as the following figure.
3. When you finished the above steps, please open Firewall>>General Setup. Choose the
profile just configured from the drop down list in the field of URL Content Filter. Now,
users cannot open any web page with the word “facebook” inside.

II. Disallow users to play games on Facebook
1.
CSM without object-based settings, take Vigor2950 as an example.
Open CSM>>URL Content Filter Profile. In the field of Keyword, please type
“fapps.facebook”. Check ACT. After configuring, save the profile.

CSM with object-based settings, take Vigor2110 as an example.

Open Object Settings>>Keyword Object. In the field of Contents, please type
apps.facebook. Configure the settings as the following figure.

Open CSM>>URL Content Filter Profile. Configure the settings as the following figure.

When you finished the above steps, please open Firewall>>General Setup. Choose the profile
just configured from the drop down list in the field of URL Content Filter. Now, users cannot
open any web page with the word “facebook” inside.
III. As for blocking other functions, please type the following keywords in the field of
Keyword.
1. Function of leaving message: facebook.com/ajax/inline_commen
Note: At present, keyword setting cannot be used for Vigor 2910, Vigor 2950 and Vigor2930 series
to block it.
2. Sharing: facebook.com/ajax/updatestatus
Note: At present, keyword setting cannot be used for Vigor 2910, Vigor 2950 and Vigor2930series
to block it.
3. Chatting: facebook.com/ajax/chat
Note: At present, keyword setting cannot be used for Vigor 2910, Vigor 2950 and Vigor2930 series
to block it. Please use “facebook.com/presence 0.channel instead”.
4. Viewing the inbox: facebook.com/inbox

6. Photos/pictures: facebook.com/photos
