was recently photographed by a
lineman of the telephone com­
pany a t Sanger, Calif. Whiie look­
ing around to locate a case of line
trouble, he came upon this threefoot snake stretched o u t along A
wire. The snake’s maneuvers in­
terested him, bo he hastened back
to the office to obtain a camera.
Upon returning to th e scene,
he saw that his performer had
moved a noticeable distance. Ha
