Family Program @ Spring Games on June 2-4,
2017!
Family Resources
All families interested in joining the family program for Spring Games will need to register online at
www.sowa.org by May 15th. All registered families will receive a credential in their family registration packets
upon arrival and it will be required to receive any onsite amenities.
Credentials
Registered families will identify their pick up location when submitting the registration online. Pick up will
take place at the sports venues identified. Check in at the Sports Information Desk to receive your credentials
and family packet. Please wear your family credential throughout the weekend.
Family Meals
Register families will be provided one meal voucher for local restaurants and/or onsite food trucks.
Note: Families will not be allowed to join the athletes and coaches on Saturday evening for dinner provided
by Pacific Lutheran University.
Venue Resources:
Each sports venue will have an area for community organizations to host tables with information and
resources for families. Resources will be provided in Olympic Town or near the Sports Information Desk at
the following venues:
o Pacific Lutheran University, Victory Village at Olson Auditorium
o King County Aquatics Center, Lobby; Sports Information Desk

- Assistance with Decision Making: Informal Supports to Guardianship (4:30-5:30pm)
1. Presenter, Katie Hurt: Ms. Hurt was admitted to practice in the State of
Washington in 2013. She earned her Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Seattle
University School of Law in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and
Political Science from the University of Washington in 2010. As an associate with
Brothers Henderson Dussault, Ms. Hurt’s practice focuses on the areas of
developmental disability law including: capacity; estate and trust planning; trust
administration; establishment of and reporting on guardianship; benefits
management and advocacy; independent living; and special education.
