JumbleforMicrosoftOutlook
Jumbleprovidestrulyusableandsecureemailencryptionbyintegratingwithexistingemailclients.
Users can easily and securely communicate from their email client simply by clicking the “Secure
Send”buttonasJumbleintegratesattheemailclientlevel.Jumble’seasyandcost-effectivetosetup as it removes the need for significant capital outlay normally required for deployment and
managementofenterpriseand/orgateway-basedemailencryptionproducts.
Jumbleperformsencryptionanddecryptionattheemailclientlevelandthereforeprovidesfullendto-endencryptionofemaildata.Jumblesecuresbothemaildataandfileattachments.
Jumble users do not need to manage cryptographic keys, nor do they need to be registered to
receiveaJumbleencryptedemail.
Jumbledoesnotstoreanyclientemaildatanordoesitnothaveaccesstotheencryptionkeys.

ToinstallJumblefollowthesesteps:
1. DownloadtheinstallationfilefromtheJumblewebsite:https://www.jumble.io/outlook
2. EnsureOutlookisnotrunning,closeitifit’sopen.
3. Once the setup.exe file has downloaded, double click it to start the installation and follow
the on-screen instructions – the installer may prompt you to accept the terms and
conditions (also available here: https://www.jumble.io/terms-of-service) and install
additional required libraries from Microsoft, accept the prompts and the installation will
complete.

IftheJumbleaccounthasnotbeenactivatedtheaccountstatuswillshowas‘INACTIVE’–toactivate

process (if you didn’t receive this email you can re-send it from the Jumble website); once
completed,youcanlogoutofJumble(withintheOutlookdialog)andlog-inandnowyourstatuswill
showas‘ACTIVE’.

When logged-in to Jumble all encrypted emails received will automatically decrypt as they are
opened.Youwillnoticethemessage“MessagesecuredbyJumble”addedtothebottomofeach
decryptedemail.Ifthere’sanencryptedattachmentyousimplyneedtodouble-click(orright-click)
the file to save it, Jumble will decrypt the file before it is saved – you can then open the file as
normal.

UsingJumble,userscanrevokeorexpireanemail.
Torevokeanemail,clickontheSentItemsfolderandselecttheemailyouwanttorevoke,thenclick
the “Revoke Email” button. Once this happens the recipient will no longer have access to the
encryptedemail–theywillbenotifiedthatthesenderhasrevokedtheemail.
