Parents/Guardians: Welcome to the Town of Fishkill Senior Camp. Each week we will be giving out parent letters that contain important information about the week. Returning from last year are Heather and Samantha. Hannah is our new director and John is our new addition to camp counselors this summer. Week 6: Camp Hours 8:15am-2:15pm Theme: SUCCESS Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Let's Talk Success! Guest Speaker Hot Dogs & Arts and Crafts Hula Hoop & Joust Arena! Pizza Electronic Afternoon Water Wars & Ice Cream Truck Trip: Castle Fun Center! Monday: Welcome to success week! We will have a business owner come talk to the campers about how to be successful! Tuesday: Campers will be given the option to order hot dogs, chips and a drink. Order forms will be handed out on Monday. Arts and Crafts will be held on Tuesdays each week. Wednesday: We will be having a professional Hula Hooper come to camp! She will be showing the campers how to hula like a pro! We will also have a Jousting Arena at camp from Premier Party Source! Campers will be given the option to order pizza $1.50 a slice. Please bring exact change! Continuing from last summer, campers will be given the option to bring in hand-held video games at their own risk. Please label what is brought in. Parents please use your best judgement before sending your camper with electronics. The camp will supply Xbox, and Wii for all campers to use. Thursday: Every Thursday will be water day! There will be a hose and sprinkler set up to give the opportunity to cool down. Water guns and water balloons are allowed. The ice cream truck will be stopping at camp on Thursdays . Please remember to send in money with your camper ($5.00 is plenty). Friday: Trip: Castle Fun Center! Drop-off is 8:00am. Buses leave at 8:15am. Buses return at 2:15pm. Campers must wear their blue camp shirt on all trips. No Shirt=No Trip. NO EXCEPTIONS. Campers MUST wear socks and sneakers to participate in activities. Campers must bring a bagged lunch. Campers can bring extra money for the arcade. Camp Checklist: ● T-shirt, shorts and sneakers ● Sunscreen and insect repellent ● Water Bottles (labeled) ● Bagged Lunch (if camper is not buying lunch) Discipline Policy: There is a 3-strike discipline policy at camp. If a camper makes poor choices, they will receive a strike. A third strike received will result in not being allowed to go on the camp trip that week. No Refunds! ● Fighting, Cursing, Bad Attitude, and Cell Phone Policies are Strictly Enforced!! Pre-Camp & Ext. Day: Pre-Camp & Ext. Day are not offered week 7- August 10-August 14. Sign-In & Sign-Out: Campers must be signed-in and out by an adult. Sign-in will be held across from the camp shed. Sign-out will be held under the pavilion. Photo ID is mandatory every day in order to sign-out a camper. If someone else is picking up your child, please make sure their name is on the pick-up list. Medication: If your child is taking medication, please see Hannah. Campers cannot keep their medication on them. Weather Cancellation Policy: We do our best to stay open! We will only be closing camp if there is thunder and lightning. Parents please use your best judgment. If camp is cancelled, the camp director will call the parents/guardians.
