Mall of Istanbul Hosted 400 Thousand Visitors During
Eid
Mall of Istanbul, Turkey’s biggest shopping mall, entertainment and living center
was the choice of Istanbulites during Eid. During the Feast of Sacrifice holiday
period, 400 thousand people visited Mall of Istanbul. Film lovers lined up at
Cinetech with its 16 theaters and 3,050 seating capacity while 55 thousand fun
lovers lined up for giant rides at MOIPARK.
In addition to the rich store mix, MOIPARK, Europe’s biggest indoor entertainment colony
and CINETECH, Turkey’s biggest cinema complex, were influential factors in getting Mall of
Istanbul favoured. By organizing different events, Mall of Istanbul appeals to all kinds of
visitor from every age throughout the year. Local and foreign tourists take up a prominent
place among Mall of Istanbul’s visitors.
MOIPARK was overrun by 55 thousand people
As one of Mall of Istanbul’s differentiated areas, MOIPARK hosted 55 thousand people
during the Eid holiday. While MOIPARK is Turkey’s first themed indoor amusement park, it is
also Europe’s biggest indoor entertainment colony. There are giant rides and a horror hotel
that made their debut to Turkey, Europe and Middle East for the first time.
All rides at MOIPARK were produced according to the customized theme developed for Mall
of Istanbul. ‘MOIPARK Horror Hotel’, which is the world’s first double attraction horror hotel
with both walking and driving features, offers entertainment and horror together to its
visitors by live performance. Having its own theatre and dance performing group within its
staff, MOIPARK also hosts a first in this area, too. Due to its longest trailer among all indoor
amusement parks in Turkey, Roller Coaster, with its vehicles that can also rotate on its own
axis, jerks up the level of adrenaline. At MOIPARK, which is also the first amusement park
with a dance performance stage inside, offers customized music broadcasting to the visitors
on any ride that they wish to enjoy with a special acoustic system embedded music shower
broadcast.
MOIPARK has been designed by the Canadian company Forrec, which carries out customized
designs in the entertainment field in different countries all over the world. As reference to
the Company’s works, there are centers such as Nickelodeon Universe, Legoland’s in
Germany, Malaysia and the U.S., Universal Studio’s in Florida, Treasury Island in Orlando and
Wonderland in Canada.
Cem Yılmaz’s current film ‘Coming Soon’ attracts intense interest
CINETECH which is Turkey’s biggest cinema complex with its 16 theaters and 3,050 seating
capacity, served fully booked at all its theaters during the Eid holiday. Cem Yılmaz’s latest
film ‘Coming Soon’ attracted especially great interest of the movie fans. All theaters at
CINETECH are equipped with the state-of-the-art digital audio and visual technology systems
and designed to provide the utmost quality movie-watching experience. There is a ‘Stage
Performance Center’, a much needed center in Istanbul, with 700 seating capacity inside the
cinema complex where there are also specially decorated foyer and exhibition areas for
national and international film festivals and premiers.
First Premier on October 21st
Mall of Istanbul and CINETECH are getting ready to host the first premier organization on
October 21st. The movie premier of the film ‘Delisin Delisin’, whose actors include, Çetin
Altay, Turgut Tunçalp, Ender Gülçiçek, Ferzan Hekimoğlu, Arzu Yanardağ, Pascal Nouma
and Ufuk Karaali, will be held on October 21st at Mall of Istanbul.
World-famous Max Planck Science Tunnel Exhibition is at Mall of Istanbul on October 18th
Max Planck Science Tunnel Exhibition, which was previously exhibited in 18 countries and
attracted 10 million viewers, will be open for visit between October 18th, 2014 and February
12th, 2015 at Mall of Istanbul. 150 thousand people are expected to visit the exhibition
which sheds light on how science and technology will form the future.
