Unless there is a clear threat of danger, the decision to close school will be made around 4:00 am and announced through NBC-2, WINK, ABC-7 TV morning news shows, and via NOAA Weather Alert Radios. Parents and staff should listen to local media beginning at 5:00 am for the latest information pertaining to school closing during severe weather months. Lariats and Lace is having a Luau! Getting to School on Time It is very important that your child be on time to class every day. The children may enter the classroom at 7:30 to start working on morning activities and the morning announcements begin at 7:45 am. The instructional day starts at 7:55 am. District Policies L & L will host the first dance of this school year! 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders WHERE: Littleton Elem. Cafeteria WHEN: Friday, September 23rd (2:30-4:00 pm) WHO: \ Parents, it is district policy that we cannot distribute homemade baked items in the classrooms. If you wish to bring in baked goods to share with your child’s class, they must be store bought. Also, there are to be no latex balloons on campus due to the fact that some children are highly allergic to them. In addition, animals are not allowed on campus at any time. Your help in adhering to the district policies will help to keep our children safe. $3.00 Entrance Fee Wear your Hawaiian shirts and be ready to party Hawaiian style! There will be plenty of snacks and games to choose from for purchase. Book Fair **A SIGNED/PAID PERMISSION SLIP will be your Book Fair will be here September 12th through September ticket of entrance and needs to be turned in by 16th. Make reading FUN---help your children choose stories they enjoy. Make reading EASY---set aside a special time to read. Turn off the TV!
